Room for Repose

Radlab built this experimental space as an environment for sleeping, wherein a variety of related technologies could be implemented, tested, and critiqued. Custom machined Corian was used to skin the walls and provide the solid surfaces for the shelving unit. Filzfelt was chosen to line the inner portion of the rear walls, and to designate floor areas. The project was designed and constructed in order to be pre-manufactured off site, packed tightly into a single crate, and then shipped to location for on site assembly. Due to IP restrictions, no images of the final installation may be shown at this time.
