Hemi-Hex
This architectural installation was designed and built with the purpose of serving as part of an immersive environment for vehicle simulation. Each panel of the half hexagon was created with bi-directional assembly in mind, in preparation for shipping, electrical work, and multi-site installation. A painted cnc milled plywood structure was used to frame an array of fabric wrapped acoustical foam panels, maintaining a stable wall system while maximizing sound absorption and transportability. Due to IP restrictions, no images of the final installation may be shown at this time.
